Atomic Extension (Second Level)

There is something dreamlike about this photo, like something totally mundane and normal suddenly interrupted by a nuclear explosion in the sky. It's a kind of scary actually, but also a little surreal. And in case you didn't infer, the name refers to the stunt the cheerleaders are performing. If you didn't know, don't feel bad, I had to look it up too.
By the way, that was a great game.

This is a nice shot. I do really like the way you captured the hot spot in the background from the light, but were still able to maintain focus in the forground on the cheerleaders.

It also seems to have maintained a sense of off-balance. You were able to caputre the formation in the middle, however the other person standing on the right makes it still feel aesthetically pleasing.

Nice timing and capture.

The blues in this picture are very vibrant. I too like the sense of off-balance. The cheerleader to the right looks ready to catch her as she falls - which creates an image of falling, instability that when belended with the sharp light behind makes this a strong image. Nice job
