The tip-off is the defining moment that starts the game and can show who is the top-dog of the night or the year.

I actually like the ref's image in this picture - wonder if there is a way to capture that better? The tip off is great - you get the ball in mid-air between the two so it could go either way. I like too the flags that envelope the two players - would be really cool if they were the appropriate teams (photoshop?? kidding) Anyhow - there is a lot going on in this picture - by trying different crops you could really change the focus/effect.
